DollHouse was born in a perfect storm of adversity, hope, determination and uprising.
"Post" Covid, mid-divorce, it was impossible to find a position that would allow someone to be a parent - even half of the time.
DollHouse is an authentic product of desperation and faith, ferocity of spirit and the intoxication of forging a new path. It embodies the will - the need - to pursue liberty. It is founded in experience, mastery and a deep knowledge base. Founder and CEO, Kirsten Olson, graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture from the University of Michigan in 2006. She obtained her LEED Accreditation in Building Design and Construction, even becoming a LEED exam instructor. Kirsten's commitment to the environment and the mitigation of the building industry's impact upon it is a guiding force in all of her work.
Kirsten later acquired her Associate Degree in Construction Management. "There was such a disconnect between designers and contractors; I felt that all stakeholders could benefit from someone who could speak both languages. A liaison."
This comprehensive grasp of the industry, along with a passion for customer service, has uniquely positioned Kirsten to fully analyze all facets of a design problem and to develop and execute tailored, client-sensitive solutions.
Kirsten has continued her career in architecture, design and project management while also acquiring her MBA in 2019.
